Swing w/Pride Golf Scramble
Our first of what we hope will become an annual fundraiser. All proceeds from this event will be used toward the 2026 Liability Insurance Policy.
Nothing says queer golf more than a 12-hole scramble! That's right, we are playing Woodside in Dewitt, one of just a handful of 12-hole courses. Perfect for an outing so you aren't on the golf course ALL day, just most of it! :-). The scramble format (all four people hit a tee shot, choose the best one, all four hit from the spot, choose the best one, all four hit from there, etc. etc.) makes this the perfect event for golfers of all skill levels as there is little pressure to hit a great shot knowing you have three teammates who can get you close!
Ages
We will allow golfers of all ages to participate in this event; however, anyone under 18 must have a parent/guardian in their 4-some.
When
We will kick off Pride month in style as this outing is Saturday, May 31, 2025. Shotgun start at 9AM.

Woodside Golf Course on Wood Rd. in Dewitt. Details on the course can be found at the link below.
Practices
Woodside does have a driving range and practice green, so arrive early to get warmed up if you like!
Costs
$80 gets you twelve holes of golf with a cart and lunch at the turn. There will be prizes for the winning team, longest drive, and closest to the pin. You'll also be helping support a great cause!

This will be our first-annual golf outing. Help us raise money for the 2026 Insurance Policy. This is our single biggest expense each year and as GAAY Sports has grown exponentially, so has our insurance policy. In 2026 it is expected to surpass $7,000. Your contribution helps to keep registration fees low for all participants.
